CORPORATE

The Florida National Guardsman is the living embodiment of a true Citizen Soldier.  The Guardsman faces many challenges in maintaining both roles to include deployments and mobilizations, family obligations, military and civilian job requirements, and other community responsibilities. It is impossible for the Guardsman to do it alone.

We have developed a “Patriot Partnership Program” between our state association and corporate members to generate support for products that enhance the readiness of over 10,000 members of the Army and Air National Guard.  Our corporate sponsors are an additional avenue to support the Members of the Florida National Guard and the National Guard Association of Florida (NGA-FL).

The NGA-FL, a 501(c)(19) nonprofit organization, was established in 1903 to provide support for Servicemembers of the Florida Air and Army National Guard and their families and foster the role of the National Guard in our state and national security.  Since its inception, the NGA-FL has carried the torch for Guardsmen of all ranks, from newly enlisted privates to veteran officers, on the state and national level.

Once a year, the NGA-FL brings together the men and women of the Florida National Guard, both active and retired.  At these annual conferences they confer on issues that affect their daily lives, meet with senior military and civilian leaders, and determine what priorities must be addressed during the coming year.  This is also the only time that our members may officially come together to do this.

The Patriot Partnership Program was formed with a vision of developing and sustaining long-term partnerships between sponsors and the Servicemembers of the Florida National Guard.  Corporate sponsorship’s are a major funding source for the NGA-FL and its charitable activities, professional development programs, scholarships, legislative initiatives, and ‘Guard the Guard’ efforts.  Your valuable corporate investments in NGA-FL not only demonstrate your thanks and appreciation for the service and duties our Florida National Guardsmen perform for our state and nation, but also helps bring together industry, military, political, and civilian leaders to share the vital role the Guard plays in our national defense, state preparedness, civil emergency, and local economies.  From our annual conference to our new “Lunch and Learn” series for educating our Florida National Guard on how NGA-FL works with National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) and the Enlisted Association National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) our legislative process and how the organizations work for the needs of the Soldiers and Airmen.

Participants in this program can join at the diamond, platinum, gold, silver, or bronze level and receive special recognition and privileges.  It includes the exhibit fee at our annual state conference if you wish to attend.  We also offer non-corporate businesses the opportunity to donate as well.  We are excited about this program as it allows us to strengthen our relationship with corporate and small business owners.

There are many ways your organization can invest in the NGA-FL and help your business learn best practices for working with the National Guard, selling your products to, and hiring members and retirees of the National Guard and their families.  Our relationship agreements give your organization opportunities to market by and through NGA-FL’s social media, website, newsletters, and other marketing materials in addition to face-to-face meetings at our annual conference.
